In 2006 WSE Builders deployed Resman Budgetrac as its Real Estate Property Management application to centralize accounting and subcontractor payment operations across the company. The deployment focused on accounting month close workflows and operational control points used by the Accounting Department and executive operations leadership, with daily support provided to the Controller and the Vice President of Operations.
Resman Budgetrac was configured to track and verify monthly draws, manage invoice research and matching, prepare invoices for posting, post invoices, and code invoices to the appropriate accounting month. The implementation included organizing and managing Budgetrac Software as the accounting ledger for project and subcontractor expenses, and performing year end processes such as preparing and processing 1099 filings.
Operational coverage emphasized end to end subcontractor payment workflows, including processing payments to subcontractors and assisting subcontractors with interactions with state agencies on tax and insurance matters. The system’s use included formalized invoice backup matching and filing procedures for the Accounting Department and company wide recordkeeping, integrating procedural handoffs between invoice research, posting, and payment execution.
Governance centered on documented procedures for invoice coding, monthly draw verification, filing and 1099 processing, and daily operational support to finance leadership. Resman Budgetrac served as the single application for the company’s Real Estate Property Management business function, underpinning accounts payable, vendor payment processing, and year end tax reporting tasks.
