Avigilon, part of Motorola Solutions Legacy Avigilon HDSM Video Surveillance System Physical Security n/a 2014 2014 In 2014, Yerevan Municipality deployed Avigilon HDSM as part of a Video Surveillance System supporting city parking operations and a Safe City public safety initiative. The initial phase included approximately 1,600 Avigilon 5 MP bullet cameras and expanded to thousands of Avigilon HD cameras, paired with Avigilon Control Center ACC and Avigilon HDSM for centralized management and high definition stream handling. Avigilon HDSM was configured to manage high camera density and to optimize high definition video streams across municipal networks. Avigilon Control Center provided central monitoring, recording orchestration, and accelerated search and export workflows, enabling municipal teams to locate and extract forensic footage more quickly. Operational coverage focused on paid parking zones, traffic flow monitoring, and protection of municipal infrastructure across the city of Yerevan, with municipal security teams operating the system. The Video Surveillance System supported business functions in parking management, traffic operations, and municipal security. Deployment was executed as a phased initiative beginning with the initial camera roll out and scaling coverage across parking areas and municipal infrastructure, with operational governance retained by municipal security units. The implementation delivered higher-quality forensic footage and faster search and export times for municipal security teams.
