In 2021, Zambrero deployed Zapid Hire, an Applicant Tracking System, to accelerate high-volume restaurant hiring across Australia. The implementation centered on Zapid Hire video job ads and automated screening to reduce recruitment workload for HR and hourly hiring teams, with deployment targeted at store-level hiring and central HR coordination across the national estate.
Zapid Hire was configured to operate as the primary applicant intake and screening layer, combining video job ad distribution with automated candidate screening workflows and pipeline management common to Applicant Tracking System deployments. According to press coverage, Zapid saved Zambrero around eight hours per hire, reduced interview no-shows by about 35 percent and enabled positions to be filled up to five times faster, outcomes that informed operational adjustments to interview scheduling and candidate follow up practices.
