In 2009 Ziggo B.V. implemented Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 to support Ziggo Business marketing and B2B sales functions. A bespoke integration link was specified with Comverse, the supplier of the new billing system, to enable data exchange between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the billing environment, preserving order and billing continuity.
Operational scope concentrated on Ziggo Business and emphasized application governance led jointly by Ziggo and Cmotions Solutions to meet the October go-live date. The initiative explicitly aimed to bring down the cost of managing and using current systems and to play an important role in marketing the B2B market by centralizing customer and campaign workflows in the CRM.
