In 2013, Steinmetzer Germany implemented EVOcompetition. The project was installed in November 2013 and proceeded through a testing phase to go-live in January 2014, using EVOcompetition to deliver Manufacturing ERP,Manufacturing Execution System capabilities on the shop floor in Germany and to enable paperless production and visual plant boards.
Configuration centered on EVOcompetition with shopfloor/BDE functionality, and the deployment included tool management and integrated document handling across the shop floor. Functional capability coverage included shop floor data capture, visual plant board orchestration, coordinated tool life and setup tracking, and centralized document access for operators and production supervisors.
Module usage is documented in vendor case material, and the implementation operationally covered production operations and shop floor teams at Steinmetzer in Germany. The solution was used as a plant-level production system to instrument order processing, job status visualization, and paperless work instructions.
Rollout and governance followed a defined installation, test and go-live sequence between November 2013 and January 2014, with process standardization around paperless workflows and shop floor reporting.
