Lehigh Valley Health Network | Healthcare | 18000 | $4.1B | United States | Peplink | Peplink SpeedFusion | VPN | 2021 | West Networks |
In 2021, Lehigh Valley Health Network implemented Peplink SpeedFusion to provide secure, high-bandwidth VPN connectivity for mobile vaccine drive-through clinics. The project prioritized rapidly deployable, resilient connectivity to support confidential data flows between remote sites and central operations.
The deployment architecture placed MBX 5G units on-site at mobile clinic locations, leveraging each MBX 5G device for concurrent connectivity from a single 5G and three LTE connections through its embedded cellular radios. Each MBX 5G was installed inside a custom West Networks SpeedFusion case for added shock and vibration protection, and flexible power inputs allowed safe use of mobile generators to maintain consistent power. Two Balance 1350 appliances were installed at headquarters in a High Availability configuration to provide operational performance and capacity headroom during periods of high load.
Peplink SpeedFusion was configured to create a SpeedFusion VPN tunnel that linked mobile clinics to headquarters, using SpeedFusion Bandwidth Bonding to aggregate multiple cellular links into a single encrypted tunnel. Various Load Balancing algorithms were tuned per connection and application priority to optimize throughput and reliability while preserving confidential data handling across the VPN.
West Networks served as the implementation partner for rapid field deployment and case design, coordinating site-level installation and headquarters integration. The operational scope covered mobile clinic sites and headquarters network operations, and the stated outcome was a reliable and secure connection for high volumes of data, summarized by Lehigh Valley Health Network as improved throughput and smoother drive-through events, with Nathan Husser, Sr Network & Communications Analyst, LVHN stating, "We’re impressed by the amazing throughput! Our drive-through events have never been smoother."

Live X | Media | 120 | $25M | United States | Peplink | Peplink SpeedFusion | VPN | 2021 | Castle Point Technologies |
In 2021, Live X deployed Peplink SpeedFusion to provide resilient, low-latency VPN connectivity for its broadcasting and streaming operations in New York. The Peplink SpeedFusion deployment targeted mission-critical live broadcasts and remote production workflows.
The implementation used Peplink SDX and UBR devices at edge sites and SDX Pros configured as a centralized SpeedFusion hub, creating bonded SpeedFusion tunnels and WAN failover to sustain throughput and minimize latency. Functional capabilities implemented included tunnel bonding, session persistence, dynamic path selection, and automatic failover to maintain continuous streams during network degradation. Configuration emphasized redundant topology and centralized tunnel orchestration to support multi-site live ingest and backhaul.
Castle Point Technologies and Frontier Computer Corp executed the hub deployment and device configuration, operating across Live X broadcast sites in New York. Peplink SpeedFusion VPN tunnels were validated under operational load and the solution delivered 100% uptime during the 2021 New Year’s Eve Times Square broadcast. Governance focused on centralized management of SpeedFusion tunnels and operational procedures for switching live production paths.

Qualitas Insurance Company | Insurance | 7344 | $4.7B | Mexico | Peplink | Peplink SpeedFusion | VPN | 2020 | n/a |
In 2020, Qualitas Insurance Company deployed Peplink SpeedFusion as a VPN solution across its branch network in Mexico, targeting resilient connectivity and centralized management. The rollout covered 140 of Qualitas' largest branches within a national footprint of over 500 locations, addressing chronic slow and unstable connections that impaired branch operations and user experience.
Peplink SpeedFusion was configured to bond combinations of fixed WAN links at each branch, delivering link aggregation, session persistence, and path resiliency through SpeedFusion bonding. The deployment used Peplink hardware and API driven management, leveraging InControl2 to expose telemetry and enable a customized dashboard for automated network monitoring and routine management tasks.
Implementation was executed in coordination with CTO Networks, Connectivity Solutions, and domestic telecom carrier partners, and crucially required no changes to Qualitas' existing network infrastructure. The integration focused on carrier agnostic WAN bonding and API based dashboarding, centralizing visibility and operational control for network operations teams across distributed sites.
Governance and operational changes included establishing an automated reporting workflow via the customized dashboard to reduce manual troubleshooting at branch sites. Outcomes reported by Qualitas explicitly included greatly diminished failures and improved user experience, and Peplink partners positioned the deployment as a channel reference for expanded enterprise adoption in Mexico.
