Annaghmore Agencies Distribution 44 $14M United Kingdom Principal Systems ProWMS Warehouse Management 2022 n/a
In 2022 Annaghmore Agencies implemented ProWMS to centralize warehouse operations under a single Warehouse Management environment, aligning with the company goal to consolidate storage into a purpose built facility. Annaghmore Agencies deployed ProWMS Warehouse Management Software to orchestrate receipt, putaway, replenishment and picking across its new facility while supporting distribution throughout the UK and Ireland. ProWMS was configured to enforce item identification and sizing, barcode labelling at receipt, and category driven putaway rules that include pre determined industry size categories. The implementation included putaway algorithms for Very Narrow Aisle locations with a two phase putaway and two phase picking flow, zone based work assignment, handheld operator screens filtered by zone and handling equipment, and replenishment logic interleaved with picking to maximize space utilization. The WMS integrates with Microsoft Dynamics NAV for purchase orders and sales order transactions, receipts are processed against NAV purchase orders and ProWMS generates barcoded labels that contain size and category data to drive automated putaway. ProWMS also consolidates multiple sales orders created in Microsoft Dynamics NAV into single pick tasks, removing manual order consolidation and aligning warehouse execution with ERP order lines. Operational governance was restructured around warehouse zoning, with work filtered first by the physical warehouse, then by equipment capability, and finally by operator experience to control who handles large or high level locations. ProWMS Warehouse Management Software delivered explicit business outcomes reported by Annaghmore, including increased stock volumes in 40% less warehouse space, efficiencies over 25 percent, elimination of order picking errors, reduced damages and transport costs, improved delivery accuracy, and real time stock movement information to support decision making.
