The solution went live on February 6, 2024, and a subsequent retail sales integration provided daily shipment and retail updates to the TPM environment, extending operational coverage across sales planning and trade spend reconciliation.
Governance and operational change emphasized centralized promotion planning and deduction management owned by commercial finance and sales operations, with BluePlanner serving as the system of record for promotion events and deductions. The retail sales integration later improved forecast accuracy by approximately 20 percent and enabled faster visibility into trade spend through more frequent shipment and retail data updates.
