Air France | Transportation | 38000 | $36.3B | France | Tungsten Automation | Kofax ReadSoft Online | AP Automation | 2020 |
In 2020, Air France deployed Kofax ReadSoft Online for AP Automation to dematerialize incoming customer-side document flows, focusing on invoices and purchase orders. The implementation involved vendor Tungsten Automation and systems integrator Dimo Software, and project commentary referenced Bertrand Brat, application project manager for the Airvance Group, who described the challenges of digitizing processes with Docuware and Readsoft.
Kofax ReadSoft Online was configured to provide automated capture, optical character recognition and structured data extraction, document classification and validation, plus workflow routing to accounts payable teams. Configuration emphasized invoice capture, purchase order processing, automated validation rules and exception handling consistent with AP Automation functional workflows.
Operational integration explicitly included Docuware for document storage and flow management, reflecting process coordination between Readsoft and Docuware noted in project accounts. The scope concentrated on customer-side incoming flows and the accounts payable function, unifying capture, archival and retrieval across invoice and PO intake.
Governance relied on centralized application project management and process reconfiguration to formalize capture to workflow handoffs and exception queues for AP processors. The implementation narrative centers on digitizing capture, standardizing document handling and coordinating ReadSoft Online with document management for AP Automation.

ALMA GROUP Solutions&Services | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 250 | $1.1B | France | Kyriba | Kyriba Treasury | Treasury Management | 2020 |
In 2020, ALMA GROUP Solutions&Services implemented Kyriba Treasury for Treasury Management to centralize cash visibility across its European operations. The project addressed a multi-entity footprint of more than 40 companies, 45 factories across Europe, activity in 7 countries, approximately 150 bank accounts and daily reconciliations on about 60 accounts, making Kyriba Treasury the core cash management and treasury control platform.
Kyriba Treasury was configured to support core treasury modules including cash position and cash flow statements, bank reconciliation automation, investment and loan tracking, accounting entry generation, intraday liquidity monitoring, and anti-fraud controls. The implementation delivered accounting/cash flow reconciliation that is 99% automated, and enabled electronic signature workflow for payment approvals, shifting routine reconciliation and manual tasks toward higher value treasury activities.
The deployment followed a SaaS cloud architecture, with DIMO Software as the implementation partner, and prioritized bank connectivity and strengthened banking security for foreign accounts. Alma retained upward and downward interfaces with accounting systems to integrate forecasts and post accounting entries, and established seven to eight financial centers in the Kyriba instance with around twenty recipient profiles for payment orchestration. Daily bank statement retrieval from multiple banks and the electronic signature flow are processed through Kyriba Treasury.
Governance and rollout were managed by the Treasury department, the team proposed the program to executive management and completed the initial signed-to-live phase in five months. The project was executed in two phases, first reproducing an ISO perimeter and then extending accounting entry functionality alongside banking security and foreign account connections, and Alma has since developed internal skills to perform subsequent enhancements without mandatory partner intervention. Next steps explicitly include expanding European cash pooling and plans to leverage Artificial Intelligence for cashpool orchestration within the Kyriba Treasury environment.

The implementation included configuration of multi legal entity and multi currency ledgers and role based access controls to align with corporate treasury policies.
Dimo Software led the implementation delivery and workshop activities, and the project emphasized consolidating bank balances and enabling automated payment workflows and electronic bank statement import for international banking relationships. Integrations focused on connecting Kyriba Treasury to the group s banking network and to upstream financial systems for cash position aggregation and payment initiation, using standard treasury connectivity patterns.
