AM Castle China | Retail | 60 | $6M | China | Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | 2015 |
In 2015, AM Castle China implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. AM Castle China engaged IT Convergence to deliver a multi module, multi language Oracle E-Business Suite 11i instance with China localization to satisfy local statutory requirements and to address cross-border operational needs between China and the US.
The rollout covered core financial and supply chain capabilities, specifically AP, AR, GL, COST, SO, PO, Pricing, INV, QA, BOM, WIP, WMS, and ASC. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment included configuration for China statutory localization and targeted data conversion and item cross referencing workflows to resolve the business challenge of differing item codes across countries.
IT Convergence began the implementation in late April and completed delivery within five months, assigning four consultants including one technical resource. IT Convergence provided end user training for key AM Castle China staff and delivered post go live support as part of the engagement.
Operational scope was centered on the Shanghai site with functional impact across finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing and quality management processes. Project governance emphasized vendor led implementation and structured knowledge transfer to reduce dependence on the US team that had previously constrained data conversion and mapping work.

AmerCable | Manufacturing | 300 | $234M | United States | Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory Management | Inventory Management | 2016 |
In 2016 AmerCable implemented Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory Management to refine and consolidate its Oracle R12 inventory views and stabilize inventory operations. IT Convergence was engaged as the implementation and development partner, using nearshore development resources in Buenos Aires to deliver targeted R12 refinements and application extensions.
The engagement focused on Oracle Inventory Management R12 within the broader Oracle Supply Chain Management R12 footprint, delivering form personalizations and consolidated screens. Development work merged supply and demand forms and surfaced Oracle Purchase Order and Discrete Job Description data in a single view, adding interactive buttons to generate reports and exposing planning attributes such as Fixed Quantity, Planning Lead Time, and Processing Lead Time directly within the same interface.
Operational coverage targeted AmerCable manufacturing and supply chain workflows at the El Dorado Arkansas site while aligning with the companys global distribution and cable assembly operations. The implementation impacted business functions including inventory control, procurement, and discrete job management by consolidating disparate data outputs into one Inventory Management view and tightening process flows used by planners and warehouse operators.
Governance and rollout included delivery of step by step end user instructions and handover for ongoing development, with IT Convergence providing long term application support and stabilization. As a result AmerCables Oracle R12 environment was reported as running properly, supporting a consolidated inventory view, reducing time spent searching for information, and enabling continued partnership with IT Convergence for future Oracle development needs.

AmerCable | Manufacturing | 300 | $234M | United States | Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite - SCM Module | Supply Chain Management | 2016 |
In 2016, AmerCable implemented Oracle E-Business Suite - SCM Module to consolidate and stabilize its Oracle R12 supply chain applications. The implementation focused on Oracle Inventory R12 within the broader Oracle Supply Chain Management environment, and was executed as a targeted refinement project supported by IT Convergence with nearshore development resources in Buenos Aires.
The work centered on developing extensions and personalized forms inside Oracle Inventory R12 to consolidate supply and demand information. AmerCable’s Oracle Inventory R12 environment was configured to display supply and demand data alongside Oracle Purchase Order and Discrete Job Description information, and custom action buttons were added to run reports and surface detailed attributes such as Fixed Quantity, Planning Lead Time and Processing Lead Time within a single view.
Architecturally the solution remained inside the Oracle R12 stack, with IT Convergence delivering application-level customizations to the Oracle Inventory Management R12 module. The project produced end-user step by step instructions and UI personalizations that reduced the need to search across multiple screens, effectively consolidating data outputs into a single view solution for supply chain users.
Governance and operational coverage were handled through a stabilized Oracle R12 support engagement with IT Convergence providing senior Oracle expertise and ongoing development services. The engagement transitioned AmerCable to long term development support and established a single provider model for its Oracle Supply Chain Management needs.
As an outcome AmerCable’s Oracle R12 environment is reported as running properly and the Inventory R12 personalizations saved time and expenses by reducing data lookup and downtime. The implementation delivered a consolidated Oracle Inventory view that improved operational access to supply chain data and locked in a long term support relationship with IT Convergence.
