Operational coverage was explicitly retail store centric, supporting inventory, price checks, goods receipt, price markdowns and customer enquiry workflows, and enabled access to stock history, product videos and warehouse purchase order dates from the handheld devices.
Governance combined in house application development, partner led device lifecycle management and vendor support, with Peak Ryzex operating device security updates and Zebra OneCare supplying hardware support. Reported outcomes from the deployment included more streamlined in store operations, improved shopper engagement and reduced in store disruptions that contributed to time and cost efficiencies for Lakeland.
