In 2023, Wellness Warehouse South Africa implemented Spaaza Loyalty as its loyalty backend to launch a new customer loyalty app and omnichannel member experience. Spaaza Loyalty was deployed to support CRM and marketing workflows, establishing a Customer Loyalty foundation for member enrollment, engagement, and campaign orchestration across retail channels in South Africa.
The implementation configured Spaaza Loyalty as the central loyalty engine, with customer profiles, points accrual and redemption workflows, and campaign segmentation feeding the customer-facing loyalty app and marketing automation. Configuration included standard Customer Loyalty capabilities such as member tiering, transactional event ingestion, and personalized offer delivery to enable omnichannel engagement between stores and digital touchpoints.
Architecturally the rollout integrated Spaaza Loyalty with an ERPLY POS migration and a NetSuite ERP integration, supported by custom integrations to synchronize transactions, member balance updates, and customer master data. The deployment spanned 51 stores in South Africa, and the integration pattern emphasized real-time or near-real-time data flows between point-of-sale, the loyalty backend, and enterprise financial records in NetSuite.
ThinnPro Consulting served as the systems integrator for the program, documenting an 11 month rollout across 51 physical locations and delivering the custom integration work. Governance and operationalization were executed as a phased retail rollout with cross-functional coordination among retail operations, IT and marketing teams to onboard stores, configure campaign rules, and operationalize the new omnichannel member experience using Spaaza Loyalty.
