The deployment also covered currency configuration and led projects such as the currency conversion from SGD to USD and the upgrade of Oracle R11i to R12, while end users relied on advanced Excel and Oracle reporting for management packs and audit support. Operational integration included administration of Singapore and ANZ payroll through coordination with an outsourced payroll vendor, with Workday HCM serving as the central employee record system driving payroll interfaces and payroll-related data exchanges. The system also supported work pass and immigration administration and served as the focal point for HR communications, with direct support workflows for the HR Director and three HRBPs covering Manufacturing, Functional and Commercial APAC. Governance and process responsibilities were assigned to in country HR operations and regional HR leads, with Workday HCM used to enforce compliance with relevant EHS regulatory requirements and SCIEX safety policies. The implementation restructured operational workflows to centralize employee movements and HR administration, positioning Workday HCM as the primary Core HR system for HR operations and compliance.
