Configuration work included business process redefinition for finance, master data governance for suppliers and invoices, and automation of stage gates and change controls to standardize invoice to payment lifecycles.
The deployment was integrated into ABC Supplys enterprise architecture, connecting FIS Integrated Payables to a 37 integration footprint that included Oracle, WorkDay, JDE, SAP Commissions, OnBase, Vendavo, BillTrust, FIS Global GetPaid and a custom eCommerce and order gateway platform. The program also executed an on prem to cloud migration strategy using AWS primarily, with the AP Automation instance of FIS Integrated Payables operating as a component within that cloud centric architecture and interfacing with the companys ERP and POS ecosystem.
Governance and rollout were managed through a JIRA centric delivery model for Agile and KANBAN work, MS Project for waterfall scheduling and rollup reporting, Confluence for documentation and MS Teams for collaboration. The program instituted formal governance, intake, deployment and support processes, business continuity and disaster recovery testing, and cybersecurity controls including SOC 2 audit activities, then transitioned the AP Automation solution to business as usual operations under the enterprise delivery framework.

The implementation included configuration of the Workday Absence Management application alongside Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning, Reporting and Prism to create a unified employee lifecycle and time off framework. Workday Absence Management was configured for absence plans, accrual engines, leave entitlements and event tracking to support standard absence workflows and compliance, with testing and data management governed by the HCM support organization. Automation of approval routings and alignment of absence records with payroll and time tracking schedules was implemented to maintain consistent employee records across the HCM stack.
Operational scope covered HR, Organization Development, IT, Operations and site HR teams, with absence data feeding consolidated reporting and analytics in Workday Reporting and Prism. The HCM System Manager role provided ongoing administration, development and user support responsibilities, acting as liaison between HR, Org Development, IT and business unit stakeholders to prioritize configuration and enhancements.
Governance and rollout were structured around established project management discipline, governance and change management processes, with the HCM System Manager owning the strategic roadmap and leading the Workday Support Team of administrators, analysts and consultants. Ongoing activities emphasize optimization, testing, training and support to sustain Workday Absence Management as the primary system for Absence and Leave Management and for broader people operations.
