In 2015, Aberdeen Holdings implemented Oracle E-Business Suite - SCM Module as part of an Oracle EBS R12.1.3 deployment that ran from August 2015 to February 2016. The implementation targeted Supply Chain Management and Financials, delivering core supply chain modules including Purchasing PO, Inventory INV, and Order Management OM alongside GL, AP and AR financial capabilities. The environment was built on Oracle DB 11g and Oracle Linux 5, running EBS Version R12.1.3.
The Oracle E-Business Suite - SCM Module configuration addressed procurement to order-to-cash workflows, with solution design activities that captured as-is processes, performed gap analysis, and defined the functional architecture for procurement, inventory and order processing. Implemented capabilities included MOAC, EBiz Tax, AGIS, auto-reconciliation mapping, pay-on-receipt auto-invoicing, cash refunds, expense reporting, budgeting and consolidation features to support cross-entity financial control. Project execution covered requirement gathering, solution design, CRP and UAT sessions, master and open transaction data uploads, and live cutover.
Operational scope focused on Aberdeen Holdings PLC within a multi-entity program to standardize Supply Chain Management and financial processes across affiliated companies. Governance followed Oracle implementation methodology with formal OUM documentation, structured cutover plans and post-go-live stabilization activities, and functional teams managed master data migration and end user readiness. The implementation structured personalizations and process workflows to integrate procurement, inventory and order management operations with the company financial controls aligned to the Supply Chain Management category.
