In 2013, Academy of Art University upgraded Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, upgrading PeopleSoft FSCM to consolidate multiple General Ledger environments onto the latest PeopleTools and application PUMs. The implementation focused on the ERP Financial domain and targeted PeopleTools version convergence from 8.54.12 and 8.55.04 to 8.57.11 while applying PeopleSoft Update Manager images and selective PUM updates.
The project included installing and configuring PeopleSoft Update images, creating change packages to meet functional requirements, and applying selective application updates for bug fixes, new features, patches, and tax updates. Teams customized upgrade steps and scripts to handle very large tables for databases in excess of 4TB, and used the CAPI migration tool to apply all customizations during the upgrade. The scope also covered installing, configuring, and managing Elasticsearch 6.1.2 with user based role access to search definitions, and routine installation and patching of PeopleSoft infrastructure components including Tuxedo, web servers, application servers, and process schedulers.
Operationally the engagement coordinated on-shore and off-shore teams and worked closely with an off-shore DBA team to refresh non production databases from production. The technical implementation configured and maintained the PeopleSoft Integration Broker to support integrations between internal and external systems, and assisted off-shore PeopleSoft application developers in designing, developing, and testing database interactions. Database and platform health were monitored using Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM to surface and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Governance and rollout emphasized coordinated change package management, cross functional issue resolution, and customized scripts and processes for high volume data sets. The project team managed the full PeopleSoft stack and addressed all upgrade issues encountered, including performance issues, as part of the upgrade to Oracle PeopleSoft ERP.

| Quadient | Legacy | Quadient Neopost IS-6000 | Mailing System | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Academy of Art University deployed Quadient Neopost IS-6000 as a Mailing System to centralize mailroom operations across its campus network. The Quadient Neopost IS-6000 Mailing System was implemented to support the receiving, sorting and distribution of incoming mail, express mail, interoffice envelopes and interoffice packages, while also handling processing of outgoing mail and mass mailings, and operation of on-premise devices including the Neopost IS-480 Postage Meter, Neopost 6000 and the Neopost DS-90 Folder/Inserter.
Operational configuration emphasized device-level capabilities and mailroom workflows, including postage metering, mechanical folding and insertion for high-volume campaigns, and manual and semi-automated sorting for interoffice and express items. The implementation included defined procedures for verification of incoming receivables and preparation of items for distribution, along with daily inventory controls for collateral and marketing materials and ongoing distribution and restocking processes.
The Mailing System supported a distributed physical delivery model, using a company vehicle to deliver and pick up mail, interoffice and express items across 16 campuses, and it covered receiving and shipping of marketing collateral to multiple campus locations. Operational responsibilities linked the mailing infrastructure to marketing distribution, accounts receivable verification and campus logistics to ensure end-to-end handling of printed and parcel assets.
Governance and operational discipline were established through daily inventory routines, verification workflows for receivables, and documented distribution processes, which together enabled successful operation of the Neopost IS-480 Postage Meter, Neopost 6000 and Neopost DS-90 Folder/Inserter. The team performed ongoing receiving and distribution duties and managed collateral shipping and restocking across the Academy of Art University network, maintaining consistent mailroom service delivery.
