In 2008, According Group implemented TotalSoft Charisma ERP in the ERP Financial category to formalize corporate financial reporting and budgeting across the company. The deployment targeted finance as the primary business function while extending reporting inputs from sales, logistic, commercial, marketing and service departments and from branch and sales agent profit centers. TotalSoft Charisma ERP was configured with core financial modules including general ledger, budgeting, cash flow management and profitability reporting. The implementation included configuration of financial statements and analytical reports, monthly transposition of the trial balance for Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis, calculation and interpretation of liquidity, risk and profitability indicators, and preparation of functional and consolidated annual budgets using data supplied by other departments. Operational processes were adjusted to establish monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cadences for management and to produce documentation used for bank financing and cash flow analysis. The finance team configured methods for overhead allocation across profit centers and produced logistic cost parameters such as cost per square foot, cost as a percentage of sales and fuel consumption costs for use by the logistics department. Configured TotalSoft Charisma ERP reports were explicitly tailored to management requests to provide support in financial decision making.
