| Oracle | Sage 50 | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 Aceo Ltd implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system. The finance leadership led a migration from Sage 50 to Oracle NetSuite ERP while providing part time job share coverage during recruitment of a full time Finance Director.
The deployment was provisioned as a cloud hosted Oracle NetSuite ERP instance configured for core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and management reporting, with configuration focused on year end close and monthly management accounts workflows. Implementation activities centered on chart of accounts alignment, period close controls, and building the Management Information Pack used in weekly Senior Management Team meetings.
Operational coverage remained concentrated in the finance department, where the small finance team was managed and developed by the part time Financial Controller working closely with the other part time Financial Controller. Governance and process changes aligned weekly senior management reviews to NetSuite based management accounts and formalized responsibilities for closing off the 2018 year end within the new system.
Project responsibilities also included maintaining insurance administration and compliance as part of financial operations while continuity of finance leadership was preserved through part time coverage. The finance migration from Sage 50 to Oracle NetSuite ERP centralized transactional financial records and established a single source of management information for finance and senior management.
