In 2021, Acerta implemented ServiceNow HR as part of a broader ServiceNow platform deployment. The work targeted the HR Service Delivery category and positioned ServiceNow HR alongside CSM, ITSM, HRSD and other ServiceNow modules to consolidate service workflows and case handling.
ServiceNow HR was configured to support HR case management, an employee service portal, service catalog functions, and automated case routing, while CSM and ITSM provided customer service management and IT ticketing workflows. The implementation included instrumentation of ticket status fields, team assignment logic and SLA tracking to enable reporting on ticket status, team efficiency and service KPIs.
ServiceNow served as the backend system of record for service transactions, with analytics and data integration executed through a Modern Data Platform using Azure, Databricks and Power BI. ServiceNow data was exported into Azure storage, transformed and enriched in Databricks, and consumed in Power BI reports to deliver consolidated status of tickets, team efficiency dashboards and service KPI reporting.
Operational coverage emphasized HR and service operations and centralized reporting across Acerta service teams. In 2022, Acerta accelerated their digitalized backend with ServiceNow to serve customers better, and governance centered on centralized data integration and shared reporting models to maintain consistent KPI definitions and cross-team visibility.

In 2020, Acerta engaged Plat4mation to implement ServiceNow Customer Service Management. The deployment targeted the Starters & Self-Employed department within Acerta, a Belgian HR and self-employment services provider, with a primary focus on Customer Support workflows for onboarding and handling ongoing client inquiries.
The ServiceNow Customer Service Management instance was configured to centralize customer case handling, knowledge management, automated routing and SLA orchestration, and a customer self-service portal to streamline support lifecycles. Configuration emphasized case lifecycle automation and workflow orchestration consistent with Customer Support functional terminology, while preserving an extensible platform for subsequent release cycles.
Governance followed a co-creation program model led by Plat4mation and Acerta stakeholders, using an iterative MVP approach to accelerate time to value. The MVP went live at the end of October 2021, the program met its MVP deadline within budget and on time, end-users reported strong enthusiasm, and Acerta planned additional joint releases to extend the ServiceNow Customer Service Management coverage across related support processes.
