In 2020, Action Drill and Blast implemented Thomson Reuters BigRedSky eRecruitment as its Recruiting platform. The implementation exposes Thomson Reuters BigRedSky eRecruitment on the company's public career site, centralizing job postings and candidate entry through the website.
Configuration focused on standard applicant tracking capabilities, including job requisition creation, web based job posting, candidate profile capture, resume parsing and structured application forms. The deployment leverages the BigRedSky eRecruitment workflow engine to route applications to hiring managers and HR reviewers and to support staged screening and interview scheduling. System configuration emphasized role based access for recruiters and hiring managers and configurable vacancy templates.
The solution was provisioned as a web facing recruitment instance integrated directly with the Action Drill and Blast website to present live listings and to capture candidate submissions. Operational coverage spans the corporate HR and recruiting teams and extends to hiring managers across the Australia operations. Integrations were limited to the website integration as documented, with candidate data managed within the application to support recruiting workflows.
Governance established approval flows for requisition creation, defined candidate screening checkpoints and handoffs to HR for onboarding readiness. Data handling and candidate record management followed recruiter and hiring manager workflows, and configuration supported configurable reporting and auditability within the Thomson Reuters BigRedSky eRecruitment environment.
