In 2022, Advanced Air implemented JetInsight as its Aviation ERP to centralize crew scheduling and operational logistics across its 16-aircraft fleet and operations serving more than 12 communities. The deployment placed JetInsight at the center of flight operations for Advanced Air, LLC, headquartered in Hawthorne, California, supporting roles across Flight Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance, Sales and Customer Service for a 95 person operator.
JetInsight was configured to support core Aviation ERP capabilities including crew scheduling and calendar management, crew availability and training schedule tracking, trip publishing and flight release distribution, forward travel packet generation, vendor master for FBOs hotels and rental car providers, fuel program tracking, APIS filing for customs clearance, and maintenance activity tracking for phase inspections and open deferrals. The implementation emphasizes regulatory and duty time workflows consistent with Part 135 operations and consolidates operational modules under the JetInsight Scheduling Software to streamline day to day scheduling and logistical orchestration.
Integrations and operational interfaces were implemented where explicitly stated, notably Microsoft Teams for real time communication between scheduling staff and EAS Customer Service Agents, and procedural handoffs to Dispatch and Maintenance teams for recovery events and aircraft status updates. The system is used to coordinate externally with FBOs and airports for slot management and to relay crew itineraries and passenger updates to EAS stations, preserving a single source of truth for trip movements and crew assignments.
Governance and process structure centers on the Flight Logistics Coordinator role using JetInsight to enforce an outward communication flow chart for maintenance recovery and operational notifications, to collect flight releases per company policy, and to manage vendor and preference lists for crewmember travel. Operational rules capture crew assignment authority through the Chief Pilot and Assistant Chief Pilot inputs, and day to day scheduling decisions are routed through JetInsight to ensure consistent coordination among Sales Owner and Airline teams.
