The Concur Expense implementation operated in a support capacity across multiple business functions, including reinsurance, tax, investment, and claims, and was used to activate insurance claims upon payment and to facilitate the end to end claims process with Accounting, Investment and Claims departments. Governance and process controls emphasized verification and quality assurance, with team responsibilities covering processing and verification of expense reports, facilitating cross‑department claims workflows, and performing Quality Assurance testing of a new Claims system. SAP Concur Expense remained focused on Expense Management workflows that directly supported accounting controls and interdepartmental claim and payment processes.
