In 2015 Agie implemented WooCommerce for eCommerce on its corporate website. The deployment used WooCommerce from Automattic to provide a web storefront and online order capture, hosted on InterNetX Cloud. The implementation centers on core WooCommerce storefront capabilities including product catalog pages, shopping cart and checkout flows, and order management.
Operationally the project unified web content and transactional storefront under WordPress administration, enabling marketing and sales teams to manage product content and pricing while web operations maintained hosting and infrastructure through InterNetX Cloud. Integrations emphasize hosting and site infrastructure, with configuration of catalog taxonomy, tax and shipping logic, and generic payment gateway connectors inside the WooCommerce environment. Governance focused on defining product data edit workflows and administrative roles in the WordPress and WooCommerce back end to control listings, orders and fulfillment processes.
