In 2015, AGPAL implemented MYOB Exo as its ERP Financial application to centralize financial management across a national not for profit that accredits general medical practices. The project was scoped for core finance use, with configuration aimed at standard ERP Financial functions and multi-site operational coverage from a single ledger.
The implementation focused on core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and consolidated financial reporting. Configuration emphasized multi-entity bookkeeping and role based financial workflows to support administrative staff in Melbourne and Sydney, allowing consistent transactional control and month end processes across sites.
AGPAL engaged Maroochydore based implementation partner Momentum to execute the rollout, and the installation proceeded close to plan with Momentum providing hands on configuration and change support. Integration work centered on aligning MYOB Exo with AGPAL operational processes and transactional banking interfaces, while establishing local support touchpoints so staff in multiple locations could operate and maintain the system.
Governance and process change emphasized practical training, issue management and iterative problem resolution, with AGPAL leadership noting the importance of managing new processes as they arose. The implementation delivered the stated capability to support growth, with MYOB Exo accommodating a subsequent merger that doubled headcount and turnover and enabling finance teams to operate locally in Melbourne and Sydney as well as nationally.
