Configuration emphasized Online Meeting Scheduling workflows, using Dental LocalMed’s appointment booking interface to present available timeslots, capture patient intake data, and enforce appointment types and durations. The implementation leveraged standard Online Meeting Scheduling capabilities such as calendar synchronization, automated confirmations and reminders, and configurable intake form fields to align bookings with clinical availability. Setup included availability windows and rules-based appointment handling to reflect provider schedules and treatment durations. Operationally, Dental LocalMed supported both patient-facing booking on the website and internal scheduling processes for reception staff, centralizing appointment capture and reducing manual phone scheduling. Governance and workflow configuration were focused on schedule rules and role-based access for staff managing appointments, ensuring booking controls matched clinic policies. Integrations were implemented through the embedded web booking widget on the Aim Family Dental website, providing a direct online scheduling channel without additional named system integrations.
