The HeavyBid implementation was integrated operationally with HCSS HeavyJob and Viewpoint for downstream job costing and project revenue and cost visibility, enabling project managers to reconcile estimates against actuals. Operational coverage included project management, estimating and scheduling teams, with specific coordination among three project managers and five superintendents, and the PM team managing over 300 projects and more than $30,000,000 of contracted work.
Governance centered on team-based scheduling and estimate review workflows, with project managers using HeavyBid outputs together with HeavyJob and Viewpoint data to monitor profit margins and job performance. Outcome reporting in practice included an average profit margin of 11 percent on managed work, with HeavyBid serving as the primary Construction Bidding application for estimating and bid preparation.
