Epicor Legacy Epicor ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2014
In 2013, Air Techniques implemented Epicor ERP as its core ERP Financial system, establishing a structured platform for sales accounting and commission processing. The Epicor ERP deployment was configured to support commission computation workflows and sales allocation logic within the ERP Financial application layer, aligning commission calculations with distributor and territory identifiers. Configuration work included refining sales commissions models derived from a consulting engagement, forecasting territory sales and commissions by zip code to finalize sales territory boundaries, and automating the computation of sales allocation keys per distributor and territory for split sales calculations. The project produced monthly and quarterly commissions statements generated from Epicor ERP, with embedded performance graphs and transactional sales records tailored for Territory and Regional Sales Managers. Integrations were explicit and tactical, with results from the commission and territory models incorporated into the Jedox planning tool through collaboration with the Jedox team, and structured extracts pulled from the Epicor ERP backend for import into Salesforce. In parallel, a SharePoint 2016 intranet site was created to surface commission reports and related content, using customized Master Pages, web parts, flyout menus, breadcrumb trails and graphics to match business navigation and consumption needs. Governance focused on operationalizing commission reporting cadence and aligning sales allocation processes across distribution channels and sales regions, with the Epicor ERP configuration serving as the system of record for commission calculations and report generation. The implementation concentrated on establishing repeatable computation rules, report artifacts, and integration points to support Territory and Regional Sales Managers and downstream planning and CRM systems.
