AirRoad Group, an Australian distribution company with approximately 200 employees, applied the Time and Attendance application across its logistics and freight operations to centralize time capture and schedule visibility. The implementation focused on core Time and Attendance capabilities, including electronic time capture, roster and schedule management, worked-hours tracking and labour cost attribution. Mitrefinch Time and Attendance was configured to reflect industry award conditions and fatigue management requirements, enabling automated enforcement of shift rules and pay conditions and reducing manual rule interpretation. Operational ownership sat with HR and payroll, while line managers used the system for daily rostering and operational compliance across sites and mobile employees. The deployment introduced governance controls and process standardization, including rule-based approvals, exception reporting and audit trails to support adherence to fair work legislation and industry awards. As implemented, the Mitrefinch Time and Attendance system enabled AirRoad to monitor employees' worked-hours, labour costs and schedules and to demonstrate compliance with fair work legislation, industry awards and fatigue management requirements as described. |
