Architecture and operational integration focused on inventory valuation, purchase order lifecycle and sales order processing to ensure consistent costing and traceability across systems. Governance changes introduced centralized purchasing controls and multi-level approval processes, formalizing PO compliance for raw materials purchasing and embedding the weighted average costing rules into operational procedures. Rollout and ongoing operations remained under the company IT lead’s remit, combining application configuration, custom IBM iSeries enhancements and process governance to operationalize the ERP Financial system.
