In 2020, Al Jedad implemented Odoo Manufacturing as part of a consolidated Odoo suite to centralize operations across its holding company and subsidiaries in Doha, Qatar. The deployment targeted food and beverage, manufacturing, printing and services operations and was delivered by NextMove Business Solutions, implementing Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, CRM, Manufacturing, Subscription, Projects, and Website modules within the Manufacturing ERP category.
Odoo Manufacturing and the accompanying modules were configured to enable multi-company consolidation, multi-device access and unified master data for products, partners and accounts. Configuration work emphasized Manufacturing ERP workflows common to the category, including bills of materials, work order orchestration, procurement triggers from sales orders, inventory reservation and automated subscription billing and project tracking where applicable.
Operational scope centralized financial and inventory reporting across the holding structure, applying controlled access rights to restrict view and edit privileges by role and subsidiary. Approval routing and automated record keeping reduced manual handoffs and removed dependence on a handful of individuals for data retrieval, improving cross-operational visibility.
Governance changes instituted role based permissions, centralized reporting governance and revised approval processes to align operational workflows with consolidated data. Employees gained faster access to project and cost information which enabled management to review consolidated figures and make more timely decisions.
Al Jedad reported increased operational efficiency and reduced manual labor following the Odoo Manufacturing implementation and associated modules, with accelerated approval cycles and improved employee KPI performance. The company stated project cost forecasts reached over 98 percent accuracy and noted a positive change in external perception and company image.
