The program leader drove 16 software development projects through the full software development life cycle and served as program manager for 11 separate Rates and Innovations projects, applying documented SDLC governance and structured release coordination for finance and HR modules. Project governance incorporated schedule variance analysis in MS Project and Earned Value Management practices, and the team designed, tested, and implemented new project and program status reports that were adopted across the Enterprise Project Management Office. The program delivered multi-million dollar, high risk, high complexity projects on time and within budget and sustained over 13 consecutive weeks with all tracked projects in green status, reflecting formalized portfolio reporting and controls aligned to the PeopleSoft ERP Financial deployment.

Operational coverage included enterprise HR and finance functions and functionality supporting many lines of insurance business, with program coordination noted from the Montgomery, Alabama area project office. Project governance followed Enterprise Project Management Office standards, with MS Project schedule variance analysis and Earned Value Management applied to releases. Program reporting and status artifacts were redesigned, tested and implemented as new EPMO standards, and project management documentation records indicate delivery of multi million dollar, high risk and high complexity projects on time and within budget, supporting sustained green status across projects for a multi week period.

Configuration emphasized automation and business rule modeling to remove manual reconciliations and to enable omnichannel bill presentment and payment workflows for policyholders, agents, and customer service representatives. The implementation supported product configuration and billing schedules across Alfa’s lines of business. The BillingCenter deployment was integrated with Alfa’s newly implemented underwriting, policy administration, claims, and client data management components of the InsuranceSuite to ensure billing events flowed from policy and claims transactions. Operational coverage included agency distribution, customer service, and vendor interactions, and Alfa involved agents from the beginning of the rollout to accelerate training and adoption. The integrated architecture consolidated billing administration points onto Guidewire BillingCenter to simplify the platform footprint. Governance combined IT, P and C operations, and distribution channel owners to prioritize feature requests and to stage additional integrations with claims as business users requested. Alfa reported eliminated manual processes, an omnichannel experience for customers and agents, and reduced system maintenance costs as explicit business benefits, and described the InsuranceSuite program as the fastest implementation the company had completed.
