In 2017, Alfresco implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial solution to centralize finance operations for the professional services firm. The deployment targeted multi-entity and multi-currency accounting needs to support global transactional activity across the company’s finance organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury functions.
Configured Oracle NetSuite ERP modules included bank reconciliations with multi-currency support, credit card transaction reconciliation, prepayment processing with future date reversal scheduling, and sales invoicing workflows. The Oracle NetSuite ERP general ledger and accounting modules were used daily by finance staff to post multi-currency transactions and maintain the company chart of accounts.
Expense management was integrated with the Concur system to route multi-currency expense claims into Oracle NetSuite ERP for accounting and reconciliation. Operational coverage focused on daily reconciliations, credit card and bank transaction processing, sales invoice handling and resolution of customer queries tied to invoicing across global entities.
Governance and workflow changes centered on standardized reconciliation procedures, scheduled controls for prepayment reversals and consolidated invoice processing to create consistent cross-entity accounting practices. These controls were implemented within NetSuite configuration and operational workflows to enforce repeatable financial processes.
