In 2018, Almabase deployed the iMocha Recruitment Platform to support targeted campus hiring at two Indian Institutes of Technology campuses. The iMocha Recruitment Platform, in the Talent Assessment category, centralized coding evaluations and candidate reporting for the company’s recruiting team.
Almabase used iMocha's coding tests to measure coding skills, moving away from pen and paper assessments that required extensive manual grading and administrative planning. The platform provided automated scoring and in-depth reports that enabled the hiring team to make data driven decisions and rapidly shortlist top performing candidates for interviews.
Operationally the implementation supported two campus drives and embedded assessment workflows into the recruitment pipeline, with recruiters and engineering hiring managers leveraging assessment dashboards to prioritize interview slots. Functional capabilities implemented included timed coding tests, automated evaluation, candidate scorecards, and structured shortlisting workflows aligned with Talent Assessment practices.
Governance and process changes standardized selection criteria around demonstrated coding proficiency instead of resume cues such as GPA, and reoriented campus hiring toward skills based screening. With the iMocha Recruitment Platform Almabase devised a focused campus hiring strategy that helped them identify and advance high performing candidates from the targeted institutes.
