In 2015, Alps Group of Hotels implemented M3 Accounting Core, an ERP Financial application. The deployment focused on corporate headquarters in Carlsbad, California and five remote property locations, supporting finance and accounting operations for the hotel management group and covering approximately 90 named users.
The implementation included installation and configuration of M3 Accounting Core within the company Windows Server and Active Directory operational environment, enabling centralized user provisioning and role based access controls for finance teams. Configuration work emphasized core accounting and transaction processing capabilities typical of an ERP Financial solution, with server administration, application support, and backup procedures established by the in house IT leadership.
Operational rollout was delivered alongside other systems managed by the same IT organization, including ADP PAYCHEX payroll and HR systems, MICROS Point of Sale deployed on Windows Server, Google Drive and corporate email provisioning, and AT&T B VoIP telephony at select sites. The Manager of Information Technology provided systems engineering, user onboarding and training, timeclock WAN uplinking and ongoing application support, creating the governance and day to day support processes that sustained M3 Accounting Core across corporate and property finance functions.

HR functions performed during this period included crafting employment contracts, employee payroll file maintenance, and a review and reclassification of employee job codes that saved the company over $250,000 in workman compensation premiums. Training, support and centralized payroll administration were core to sustaining the Paychex Payroll deployment across the hotel group.
