Altarea implemented Sage 1000 in 2019 as its ERP Financial application to centralize group finance, treasury, tax and e-invoicing operations. Sage 1000 was positioned as the primary ERP Financial system supporting the companys accounting and treasury workflows across the group.
The implementation covered the SAGE 1000 Financial and Treasury Suite with configuration and ongoing administration, and included SAGE FRP Reporting for consolidated reporting and a commercial management software integration at group level. The program included development and operation of internal data transcoding and ETL tools using Access and Talend to standardize data flows, and explicit responsibility for accounting and treasury interfaces.
Integrations and operational coverage were explicit and multi-system. The environment operated alongside the CEGID taxation and ETAFI portal and provided level 1 and level 2 support relationships with SAGE FRP Reporting, commercial management software, and SAP BPC and BOFC. The production function managed remote transmission of multi company tax returns for 400 companies and produced periodic and annual brochures for 150 companies, supporting finance, tax, treasury and e-invoicing business functions.
Governance reflected a build and run operating model with deployment, training, administration and level 1 and level 2 support under a dedicated team. A manager oversaw a team of three technicians, internal training, scheduling and hotline redirection, and acted as technical referent and main contact for publishers and support and R D. Routine operations included SQL extraction for committee reporting and daily and team points to govern change and incidents.

Implementation activities concentrated on operational reporting and control capabilities, configuring Sopra Altaix Real Estate to support dashboards, KPIs, weekly recovery reporting, and management support files. Tasks included automating recurring reports, auditing key controls in rental processes, and making configuration improvements to the Rental Management ERP settings to improve consistency of control and reporting.
The deployment addressed integration points between Rental Management and Accounting by certifying the regularity of entries passing from Rental Management to Accounting, and by producing analysis for multiple departments. The vendor Sopra Steria supported the Sopra Altaix Real Estate configuration, and the operational coverage encompassed Management Control, Internal Control, Rental Management, and Accounting functions in Paris.
Governance and process work formalized audit of key controls, documented recommendations for process changes, and established weekly recovery reporting as a management information and control workflow. The engagement produced automated reporting artifacts, certified transactional regularity between Rental Management and Accounting, and reinforced control-oriented procedures during the April to October 2018 program.
