In 2017 Ambience Interiors implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as an industry-specific NAVBUILD ERP solution to address rapid projects growth across India. The Gurgaon headquartered interior fit-out and MEP service provider engaged CETAS Information Technology to provision Microsoft Dynamics NAV and NAVBUILD ERP capabilities targeting commercial and retail civil, interior and HVAC project workflows.
The deployment centered on ERP Financial functionality, with configuration across tendering and opportunity tracking, estimation through BoQ import and rate analysis, project management and budgeting, project procurement and subcontracting, change order handling and NT measurement, books and RA bills, client and subcontractor billing, site management and material reconciliations, statutory compliance and GST, and core financial accounting. Mobility for site and project managers and enterprise reporting with business notifications were implemented alongside executive dashboards and KPI reporting to provide role specific visibility.
Architecture and integrations focused on tying project schedule control to financial and operational processes, including an explicit integration with MS Project for tighter schedule management. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV based NAVBUILD ERP was instrumented to support mobile clients for site teams, central ledger and GST compliance modules for finance, and centralized reporting services for executive and project stakeholders. Operational coverage spanned Pan India project sites, project management office functions, procurement, site operations and finance teams.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized end to end project sequence visibility, exception surfacing for faster action, and tightened procurement governance through clearer cash forecast and approval visibility.
