MRI Software Legacy MRI Platform X Real Estate Property Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2013
In 2012, American Campus Communities implemented MRI Platform X within its Real Estate Property Management environment. The deployment was executed alongside a $1.6 million overhaul of the corporate and property website americancampus.com, a channel instrumental in locating prospective customers and converting them to residents across the companys 180 properties. MRI Platform X workstreams concentrated on core property management functionality and foundational infrastructure. Implementation teams applied extensive configurations and customizations to MRI Platform X and built new infrastructure components to support both corporate and on site property operations. The company also executed two discrete MRI ERP upgrade projects, sized at $0.7 million and $1.2 million respectively, which updated the MRI platform to current releases and incorporated environment specific configurations. The program included development of integrations between MRI Platform X and other company applications to enable cross system workflows and automate data flows between property operations, resident facing channels, and corporate systems. Functional capabilities addressed during the engagements align with Real Estate Property Management workflows, including lease administration, resident conversion and onboarding, property operations coordination, and financial posting and reporting. Governance shifted from traditional project management to agile delivery, with a Scrum Master role overseeing sprint cadence and iterative releases across the website and MRI Platform X teams. Both MRI upgrade projects completed on time and under budget, and the combined website and platform program established an agile governance model used for subsequent property management and resident acquisition initiatives.

Entrata Legacy Entrata Student Revenue Intelligence Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2023 2023
In 2023, American Campus Communities implemented Entrata Student Revenue Intelligence within its Analytics and BI stack, aligning a purpose-built revenue analytics application with the Entrata property management footprint that ACC listings indicate it uses. This deployment places Entrata Student Revenue Intelligence as the primary analytics layer for revenue signal aggregation across the companys student housing portfolio. Entrata Student Revenue Intelligence was configured to deliver core revenue analytics capabilities, including occupancy-linked forecasting, revenue segmentation, pricing signal generation and portfolio-level dashboards, consistent with Analytics and BI functional expectations. The configuration emphasized centralized KPI tracking and visual analytics to support pricing and leasing decision workflows. The implementation consolidated lease, billing and ancillary revenue datasets native to the Entrata platform to create a unified reporting and analysis dataset for asset management, finance and operations teams across ACCs U.S. portfolio. Data orchestration focused on synchronized property-level metrics and rolled up portfolio views, enabling standardized reporting for revenue management and accounting consumption. Governance was organized around revenue management and finance ownership, with phased portfolio onboarding, role-based dashboards and standardized revenue workflows to operationalize forecasting and pricing outputs. Training and process alignment were embedded in the rollout to ensure adoption of the Entrata Student Revenue Intelligence analytics outputs by revenue operations, asset managers and onsite operations teams.
