Governance and operational controls focused on Domain, Role and User based security for different functional areas, and on redesigning business processes to align with Workday HCM workflows. The team provided day to day support for Workday HCM, security, compensation, financials and reporting issues, and participated in unit and functional testing and ticket based production support activities.
Operational coverage emphasized ongoing user support and testing, with staff assisting users in data preparation and execution of test plans. Workday Report Writer, calculated fields and EIB templates were used regularly to maintain integrations and reporting, and to sustain Core HR operations across HR, payroll, compensation, benefits and recruiting functions.

Integrations tied AppWorx Workload Automation into the broader investment data stack, including MarkitEDM for data mastering and matching, DB2 and Oracle for downstream consumption, and messaging and delivery layers using TIBCO EMS and Kafka. Development and test architecture encompassed development, TEST and QA environments, with unit and parallel testing documented through Digital.ai, and operational SQL tuning and index creation to support MarkitEDM processing of CSV, XML and JSON ingest.
Governance and operational processes were embedded in the rollout, with requirements gathering, technical design, validation testing, application architecture and on call support forming the operational model. Workload objects and orchestration artifacts were built using UC4 Automic style constructs and maintained as part of a controlled release and testing cycle supporting the Investment Operations team responsible for data management and governance.
