In 2003, Honda implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP in a six month strategic transformation project that paired core PeopleSoft financials with an Ariba travel and expense system. The deployment targeted the companys ERP Financial footprint and aimed to centralize financial processing across Honda finance and accounting teams.
Oracle PeopleSoft ERP was configured to support core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management, with financial reporting and period close workflows aligned to corporate accounting standards. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts harmonization, automated posting rules, and transactional controls to align with ERP Financial governance.
The implementation established a direct integration between Oracle PeopleSoft ERP and Ariba for travel and expense to streamline expense capture, T&E approvals, and supplier invoice handoff, using a mix of transactional and batch interfaces. The architecture was organized as a centralized enterprise instance to unify accounting data across finance teams, and the integration scope covered expense management, supplier invoice processing, and general ledger posting.
The six month strategic transformation project executed a coordinated rollout focused on governance and process standardization, introducing approval hierarchies, reconciliations, role based security, and cutover planning. Activities included configuration freeze, testing cycles, and finance user enablement to operationalize the ERP Financial environment.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Honda implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation to centralize pay planning and manage variable compensation across its global HR landscape, with the deployment explicitly focused on Compensation Management. The implementation was positioned to support payroll, compensation, recruitment, and HR operations, emphasizing accurate new hire entry, timely associate movements, and pay-related issue resolution.
The deployment centered on SAP SuccessFactors Compensation configuration for merit and bonus cycles, pay element governance, and automated replication of salary changes. Operational activities included capturing manufacturing step progressions before payroll runs, proactive employee record modifications to ensure correct pay, and daily data maintenance to keep compensation reports current and auditable.
Integrations were instrumented to maintain end-to-end data consistency, notably using SAP Integration Suite to replicate employee salary changes from EC to ECP and to orchestrate system-to-system data flows. The environment also integrated with Fieldglass to manage contingent workforce terminations, with ServiceNow used for ticketing and rollout testing, and Salesforce synchronized for over 1000 sales representative accounts via Data Loader imports from SAP, while Revtrac was referenced as part of the integration toolset.
Governance and process controls emphasized SLA compliance, ticket triage workflows, and test case driven validation during ServiceNow rollout, with a focus on reducing operational friction through proactive corrections. Documented operational outcomes from the support and data stewardship efforts included a 60% decrease in associate tickets related to pay issues and maintenance of sales data updates that corresponded with a reported 40% increase in sales performance metrics.

| Continuum Applied Technology | Legacy | Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation | Aviation ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Honda implemented Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation as its Aviation ERP for corporate and repair station maintenance operations, with the initial deployment focused on American Honda Motor Co Inc maintenance activities in Greensboro North Carolina and supporting corporate business aviation maintenance workflows. The Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation was delivered by Continuum Applied Technology and positioned to manage regulated maintenance tasks in a FAR Part 145 repair station environment.
Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation was configured to support core Aviation ERP capabilities including work order management for scheduled and unscheduled inspections, airframe and power plant maintenance tracking, parts and piece part preservation, component traceability and certification records management tied to RSM and QCM processes. The implementation emphasized technician-facing functionality for A&P Technician use, including maintenance task lists, inspection signoffs, and documentation workflows that reflect acceptable methods, techniques and practices used during aircraft maintenance.
Integration planning aligned the Aviation ERP data model and operational workflows with existing maintenance toolsets referenced by staff, including Quantum and SAP where present, to maintain continuity of maintenance records and parts data. The Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation was positioned to interoperate with Windows based maintenance workstations and Microsoft Office products used by maintenance teams, enabling exchange of maintenance schedules, compliance documentation and parts inventory references.
Governance and operational controls were structured to enforce regulatory compliance with FAA, OSHA, DOT and EPA requirements through process rules and record retention workflows, and to reflect company policies for handling, protecting and preserving piece parts and articles under maintenance. Training and role configuration were scoped for technicians with a minimum of five years of FAR Part 145 experience, ensuring user profiles, permissions and quality control signoff procedures matched established maintenance and inspection practices.
