In 2021, AMES Australasia implemented UKG Ready (ex Kronos Workforce Ready) for Workforce Management to centralize HR performance management, governance and reporting across the ANZ region. The deployment was driven through the HRIS led by the HR Business Partner - Performance Specialist who operated across functions and geographies and who designed and implemented performance management within UKG Ready.
The implementation configured UKG Ready to support core Workforce Management capabilities including performance management workflows, individual development plan tracking, probation review reminders, role and competency alignment, and workforce and people management tools. UKG Ready was used as the system of record for performance administration and HR reporting, with configuration focused on workflow automation, reminder measurements, and competency level mapping.
Operational rollout and change management were coordinated as part of two major ANZ projects, UKG Workforce Ready and Salesforce, with communications and training programs delivered across senior leaders and people managers. The scope of operational coverage included HR governance areas such as compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, OHS and resourcing, and extended to leadership and frontline manager enablement.
Governance and process work included implementing a structured probation review process with embedded reminders, building a technical and behavioral competency library of over 50 competencies across five levels, creating a People Managers toolkit and HR 101 library, and configuring UKG Ready to manage Individual Development Plans for 450 employees. Additional outcomes explicitly reported include delivering leadership development programs for about 100 people and authoring over 150 job descriptions with KPAs aligned to company strategic goals, reinforcing capability development and HR operationalization through the Workforce Management platform.
