In 2017, Amido implemented Access Financials, an Enterprise Resource Planning application, to centralize core finance operations and enable controlled self serve access to finance functionality across the company. The deployment focused on the finance function and on granting appropriate transactional capabilities to non finance staff through Access Financials.
Access Financials was configured to automate bank reconciliations and to enable BACS payment runs, eliminating the need to process individual payments manually. Governance and operational processes were adjusted to centralize payment run and reconciliation ownership within the finance team while provisioning self serve workflows to other departments. The finance team reported time savings of about a day per week on routine tasks, freeing capacity to focus on other activities, and staff cited improved flexibility and usability of the system.
