| GR8 People | Legacy | GR8 People ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, AMN Healthcare Services implemented GR8 People ATS, an Applicant Tracking System, to standardize candidate intake and staffing workflows across its recruitment organization. The deployment targeted core talent acquisition and staffing functions within AMN Healthcare Services, aligning an enterprise ATS platform with the companys RPO and staffing operations rather than point solutions for individual teams.
The GR8 People ATS implementation emphasized standard ATS capabilities consistent with Applicant Tracking System deployments, including requisition management, candidate tracking and pipelines, automated workflow orchestration for screening and interviews, interview scheduling, offer management, and compliance reporting. | Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Power BI | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, AMN Healthcare Services implemented Microsoft Power BI as part of an Analytics and BI initiative to centralize medical analysis and executive reporting. The engagement began with joint requirements discovery sessions to plan and design an OLAP data mart, using Erwin to produce a dimensional model that drove downstream ETL and reporting work.
Development work included authoring stored procedures, triggers, user defined functions, and views to implement business logic, together with restructuring and optimizing procedures through indexing and partitioning of large tables. ETL was built with SSIS packages that used execute SQL task, bulk insert task, data flow task, and file system task, and debugging and runtime control employed event handlers, logging, breakpoints, data viewers, checkpoints, and package level and task level transactions.
Analytical layers were delivered by creating SSAS cubes in both tabular and multidimensional models that fed Microsoft Power BI and Power View for report generation. Teams developed scorecards and executive summary dashboards to display performance monitoring measures and to support medical analysis workflows.
Reporting delivery included SSRS reports deployed to the reporting server in SharePoint and native mode, with report optimization using snapshots and cached reports. Source control and version management for ETL, database code, and reports were administered through TFS to manage check in and check out across development and deployment artifacts.
Governance and rollout practices emphasized facilitated requirements sessions, parameterized package configuration to promote consistent environment deployments, and explicit transaction controls to align technical processes with business rules. The combined OLAP data mart, SSIS ETL, SSAS cubes, SSRS and Microsoft Power BI components constituted AMN Healthcare Services Analytics and BI architecture for enterprise reporting and medical analytics.
