In 2018 Amplifon implemented ToolsGroup S099+ as its core planning application within Supply Chain Management,Demand Forecasting and Planning. The deployment established ToolsGroup S099+ as the primary engine for demand sensing and planning across the distribution network.
The implementation focused on demand sensing, trend identification, alarm signal generation, and visibility of planned versus actual events. ToolsGroup S099+ software was configured to sense transactional and operational data at every stage of distribution, enabling planners to identify demand trends and trigger alerts when supply chain variance thresholds were met.
Data ingestion was extended to point of sale and channel sales streams, and distribution stage telemetry was brought into the planning layer to provide a continuous feedback loop. The system feeds planners and supply chain operations with near real time signals, supporting replenishment decisions and distribution orchestration.
By overhauling processes and systems Amplifon established end to end control of the supply chain and complete visibility of operations, centralizing planning workflows and operational alerts. Governance changes aligned planning teams to monitor ToolsGroup S099+ outputs, and process workflows were adjusted to improve responsiveness between planned and actual supply chain events.
