The upgrade followed a Unicode conversion completed in version 9.1 to meet multilingual requirements and improve performance, and it enabled finance subject matter experts to develop custom real-time reporting using One View Reporting. Governance was driven by an executive-level global process owner team that reviewed and approved all process changes, and by a Finance Center of Excellence composed of business subject matter experts who partnered with the finance division and IT to ensure end-to-end coverage. The program included corporate roll-out planning and post go-live support for the Financial Management System, with the COE and finance teams actively engaged throughout deployment and stabilization. ServiceNow was used to operationalize employee payroll support, with a new support process designed around ServiceNow modules including HR Case, Change, Knowledge Management, and Reporting. The Payroll team was trained on HR ServiceNow functionality and the project supported ServiceNow launch activities with on site support in Costa Rica. Integration and cross‑team collaboration spanned four international teams and included targeted support for Greater China onboarding, where local requirements were identified, researched, and addressed. Governance and program management were formalized through a PMO process using visual management, visual management boards for team tasking, and executive summaries for leadership visibility. The team organized and oversaw projects for leadership reporting and created dashboards for support management. Technical work included in house integration development that the notes report saved over $80,000, and vendors and outside resources were engaged to ideate and validate solutions.
