In 2014, Antonio Mozzarella deployed Food Connex as its Inventory Management application to support Customer Service and Order Entry at the Antonio Mozzarella Factory in Newark, NJ. The Food Connex implementation ran from May 2014 to August 2014 and centralized order capture workflows for telephone, email and fax intake into a single operational system.
Functional capabilities implemented in Food Connex included order entry, paperwork processing, production coordination and routing preparation to ensure orders were delivered correctly. Operational activities documented in the system included taking customer orders, checking with production, preparing routing, filing and faxing, purchasing specialty items, handling translations and receiving cash on delivery receipts, which directly impacted customer service and order fulfillment business functions at the Newark site.
