Operational coverage centers on finance and procurement functions, specifically the Member Purchasing team and small sales administration groups, with first line incident handling and problem resolution routed through service requests logged at the Oracle Helpdesk. The team’s responsibilities include resolving incidents, testing fixes and implementing changes within Oracle E-Business Suite and the Apex web application. Governance is structured around Role Based Access Control, the team sets up and maintains RBAC and creates and maintains or changes user roles and entitlements to enforce segregation of duties and access policies. Since 2014 the operational model has followed a scrum agile method for change delivery, combining first line support duties with iterative configuration and release activities for the ERP Financial environment.
