Coupa Software Legacy Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management Contract Lifecycle Management Content Management n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Appfire Technologies implemented Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management to centralize contract intake, vendor administration, and procurement workflows. The deployment targeted procurement and IT asset workflows inside Appfire's professional services organization, positioning Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management as the authoritative system for contract records and approval-stage intake. Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management was configured to support agreement data entry and a centralized contract repository, vendor management capabilities for budgeting, forecasting and contract renewal, and structured evaluation of vendor proposals and contracts. Functional capabilities implemented include vendor research and analysis, pricing negotiation support for hardware and software purchases, asset management and tracking of company hardware and software, laptop program setup and management, and processes for onboarding and offboarding company-owned devices. Operationally the CLM workflow includes monitoring Jira ATEAM support tickets for new requisitions and user questions, maintaining a current vendor record with quarterly audit cycles, and handling procurement specialist activities across purchasing, deployment and vendor lifecycle tasks. The implementation linked contract lifecycle activities to procurement, IT asset management and vendor governance processes, ensuring centralized documentation for purchasing processes and workflows. Governance and process work included creating and maintaining documentation, policies, procedures and best practices for purchasing and contract management, instituting quarterly audits of vendor records, and standardizing workflows for requisitions and renewals. The program also incorporated software validation and consolidation activities intended to reduce yearly expenditures, while preserving vendor oversight and structured procurement controls.
