The deployment also incorporated S/4 HANA Intercompany Reconciliation and S/4 HANA standard inter company and Intracompany processing with Transfer pricing, plus S/4 HANA FSCM Credit Management full version and S/4 HANA FSCM Collections and Dispute Management to address receivables and credit control. Operationally the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial implementation structured transactional flows for intercompany posting, automated reconciliation, product costing inputs to controlling, and fixed asset accounting across relevant finance subfunctions. Financial Closing Cockpit was configured to orchestrate period end activities and reconcile General Ledger to Account based COPA, while FSCM modules were configured to manage credit limits, collections workflows and dispute resolution within the receivables lifecycle. Governance and process changes focused on embedding transfer pricing policies into intercompany postings and on revising master data and chart of accounts controls to support New Asset Accounting and the New Account based COPA model. The program emphasized standardized month end orchestration, reconciliation ownership across accounting and controlling teams, and operational handoffs between treasury, accounts receivable and intercompany accounting under the SAP S/4 HANA environment.

Operational governance was centralized under a global HRIS analyst team that supervises system maintenance activities, continuous improvement and uptake of new functionality. Master data governance practices were established, including routine data certification programs and reporting to assess and validate data quality, while COEs partnered on system functionality, configuration and documentation. Change management responsibilities included identifying organization change needs, developing training and engagement approaches, and implementing toolkits and job aids for sustained user adoption. The program also included collaboration with other functional areas and external vendors to identify process improvements and resolve issues, and regular reporting of global Workday metrics to provide insight on the health of system usage.
