In 2016, Arcadis Consulting Middle East Limited implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR application to centralize employee personnel and compensation data for more than 1600 resources across the Middle East. The implementation was executed as part of the Arcadis Way project, with a named HCM Data lead accountable for localised design, testing and approval of the ME configuration.
The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment encompassed core personnel records, compensation and benefits configuration, absence plans, organizational structure modeling, and the Performance Management module which was managed until Oracle go live. Backend Oracle HCM designs were developed to capture employee personnel attributes, absence and leave entitlements, compensation elements and hierarchical organization data necessary to support Arcadis ME business processes.
Integrations were implemented to support payroll and adjacent HR capabilities, including a payroll stand alone system HR Chronicle with compatibility testing and payroll functionality validation across Oracle Cloud HCM and HR Chronicle. The team managed employee data in Taleo Learn and the AGBP portal until those systems achieved compatibility with Oracle Cloud HCM, implemented Remedyforce for HRSS request tracking to operationalize ticketing in the ME region, and led an I O app integration into Oracle Cloud HCM. Reporting and analytics for the ME region were designed and built within Oracle Cloud HCM, including agent settings, regional dashboards and HR reports.
Project governance was run through the Arcadis Way project team structure with the HCM Data lead responsible for localized design approval, managing the HR Shared Services team during blackout windows, overseeing employee change updates, and leading the soft launch period for HCM roll out. The role included managing legacy system data staging and consolidation to support cutover to Oracle Cloud HCM, coordinating design and test cycles for payroll and HR interfaces, and taking ownership of HR report and analytics delivery for the Middle East.
