The implementation supported a US-based electric vehicle manufacturer with about 200 employees and focused on stabilizing accounting workflows within the finance organization.
Configuration prioritized general ledger, accounts payable, cash management, and journal entry controls. The Odoo Open Source ERP deployment included setup of GAAP-aligned posting workflows, month-end GL reconciliation processes, and structured JE approval paths, with templates and automation applied to recurring entries and close tasks. These module-level configurations were oriented toward improving transactional integrity and consistency across accounting processes.
Odoo Open Source ERP was connected with Chase Cash Flow for bank and cash position management, with Stripe and Square commerce sites for payment and receipting reconciliation, and with Excel for data import and export and ad hoc analysis. Those integrations routed payment and cash data into general ledger and accounts payable workflows to support reconciliation and cash flow review.
